Taxi from MIA to Fort Laud. Beach

Anyone know how much a taxi will cost me (there will be 3 of us travelling)?Also the name of the taxi companies that operate out of MIA?;)

It would be much cheaper and easier to book a transfer using a company like SuperShuttle. You will find it difficult, if not impossible, to fit luggage and three people in one taxi, plus the cost could be well over $70 if you're caught in traffic, which is likely from Miami. It's about a 45 minute ride from Miami to FLL, and those per mile or per minute costs add up fast in a taxi.

Cheapest way by far is to just rent a car for the day, a taxi will cost $65-80 EACH WAY!

Yes, its the easiest way. Cabs are a dime a dozen at the airport. ;)

Of course salami taxis are indeed the EASIEST, but when people ask about COST, I tend to assume that the cost is a factor, and as I said, a taxi from MIA to Fort Lauderdale Beach is not exactly inexpensive. There are cheaper ways, and a limo is usually similar to the cost of a taxi. As Bequia said though, many many taxis are lined up and waiting at the airport, exit baggage claim, jump in one and off you go.
