Conquest/Vincent's Bar/Whiskey Tasting Info?

In looking at fairly recent Fun Times for Carnival Conquest, I see listed multiple times: Whiskey Tasting in Vincent's Bar.

Is anyone familiar with this that could provide anything more specific about this activity?

We'd really appreciate any information about it, it sounds like it's right up DH's alley. Thanks much.

My husband did a Scotch tasting on our Feb Conquest sailing. He enjoyed it very much. It was held in the shop though and not in Vincent's Lounge. It was pretty crowded in the shop, and no where to sit, so holding it in the lounge would make it even better.

I am thinking this is similar to the martini tasting at Alchemy Bar but with different whiskeys instead.

Can't believe no one knows about it though.

We will definitely check it out & report back in this thread, in case someone else looks for this information.

It might be new; I was on Conquest in early August and don't recall seeing it. I didn't go to Vincent's a lot however as it was one of the only spots on the ship that allowed cigars and it was always very smoky.

We saw several people do the whiskey tasting in Vincent's in April. Peter from Poland was the bartender and it was a really fun and relaxing lounge.

Vincent's is a smoking/cigar bar and you purchase the whiskey tasting sampler anytime the bar is open.

You receive 4 different types of whiskey.

We also enjoyed spending time in Vincent's talking with Peter and Edi.
