Our Dream again.

Recommended Posts

We were in cove 2357. It was right off the elevator and was very nice. No noise at all.

Room was COLD, had to turn up temp. a few nights.

Other things:

1) The platinum gift was the journal and pen.

2) No new menu.

3) There were tablecloths every night.

4) Sewer smell was there. Just a couple times and not over bearing.

5) MDR service was REALLY slow on a couple nights. Let matrie'd and he took care of it.

Rest of time was fine.

6) Room steward was fine. Didn't see but a couple times but did his job well.

Don't do casino but smoke smell was awful if just passing through.

Will try to answer any questions.

Would we sail the Dream again, sure. This was our 3rd time

Had a couple questions :

1) I've heard that Pasta Bella is pretty empty the first couple days. Did you try the pasta there during your cruise?

2) The Taste Bar - if you tried it, what types of samples/tastes did they have during the cruise?

3) What ports did you visit, and what, if any, excursions did you take?

Thanks!

Just back from the dream today. We did Pasta Bella the first day. It was empty and looked better than the buffet. I heard that the lasagna was good forgot to go back. Definitely make reservations for the steakhouse. Did that twice because it was so good. If your budget allows do the chefs table, it was amazing. Also on deck 5 port side on sea days they have a BBQ.

We did smell the sewer smell around the same area almost everyday while walking through the cabin hallways. We were on deck 8 so it must be throughout this ship. It was gross.

We heard of a couple rooms that were cooler than others but for the most part people complained a lot about being hot. We woke up sweating every night. I took to taking a shower in the middle of the night to cool off. I found if you roll up a towel and put it on the inside ground of the bathroom door it covers a huge gap around the door so air does not go out the exhaust fan.

Hennie is fun and you will enjoy him as the cruise director. Don't miss the comedy shows. They were funny. We also did the adult scavenger hunt and most of the trivia games.

We joined the cruise group on the face place so we got to know a lot of fellow cruisers and that was a nice way to meet. Everyday we would see members and catch up.

What night was the Chef's table held? Hoping it's the 3rd, as that's my least favorite night in the MDR

It was on Wednesday night, so 4th day. If they have enough people they do two different days. I hope you do it, you will enjoy it very much.
