sddsddean Posted October 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Can anyone tell us the current price of the washers and dryers on the Ventura? Also, what coins do they take? Thanks Simon
wilson2579 Posted October 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Can anyone tell us the current price of the washers and dryers on the Ventura? Also, what coins do they take? Thanks Simon I might be wrong as I have never used a laundrette on board, but I assume they are free but you do have to pay for the washing powder, or take your own. If I am wrong hopefully someone will correct me.
ann141 Posted October 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2015 The washing machines and tumble dryers on board are free to use. Either bring your own powder or purchase it for 60p from reception. On our recent cruise (17 nights) quite a lot of people were using the launderette.I now wish i had been one of them as our washing machine broke down as soon as we got home!!:)
jaceyar Posted October 18, 2015 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Get some Dizolve washing sheets, they're great for cruises, weigh nothing and do the job brilliantly. £1.99 for 20 from Savers.
sddsddean Posted October 18, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Thanks all. Its ages since we were on a ship with a launderette (Princess) and we had the cabin opposite it (it was a 29 night cruise!) and it was a real meeting area...lots of nattering and putting the world to rights! Thanks again Simon
mkh999 Posted October 19, 2015 #6 Share Posted October 19, 2015 Hi Simon on each cabin floor of Ventura there is a laundry room with: 4 washers, 4 dryers, 4 ironing boards, 4 steam irons and 1 sink with hot/cold as mentioned all free use. Usually open whilst at sea from 0800 to 2000hrs. See you on the 17th December Martyn
