Anyone know what this is? We have cabin 8088 just across from it.

All I can see opposite 8088 is cabin 8087! That's according to the CC deck plans.

 

 

I think it used to be some kind of next cruise area or something along those lines but not 100% on that.

It is simply a wide crossing area with a few chairs and tables that overlooks the Centrum. You can view shows in the Centrum from this area or others like it on other decks on the Radiance class ships.

On RCCL's deck plan this is the Serenade. The other 3 Radiance class ships show an Explorers' court. Gonna check with the TA tomorrow!

Jacquelyn, we are on the same sailing and of course I had to see what you were talking about so I went to check. I didn't see it on the RCI site but I did find an old post on CC that is below

Once revitalization was done, those areas had inside cabins added and the formerly public areas (library on 9 and Explorers court on 8) were made much smaller public spaces with just a few chairs and tables. The business center on 7 did not change if I recall correctly, you can still access the computers and printer in that area,.
