We havent been on a cruise in 3 or 4 years, but my mother in law goes frequently and gets deeper discounts than we do.

Can she book our stateroom for us and get her discounts/benefits if she is also attending the cruise?

Hi,

I believe she can only get her discounts for the cabin where she is sleeping soooo if you want to share with her, then yes.

Often parents can split up and book a room with an adult child so that both rooms get the discounts. Then once on board you switch rooms. It won't work if mom in law is single.
