Lays Ketchup Potato Chips

I need some help finding Ketchup flavored potato chips for my daughter. We will be in Victoria B.C. for a day during our Alaska cruise next May. My daughter has requested that we bring her back a bag (or 2) from Canada. As we will have limited time in port I was wondering if anyone could tell me somewhere to buy these. We had planned on spending time visiting the Empress Hotel, Legislative Buildings and Fishermans Wharf areas. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Any of the convenience stores downtown should have them. Just do a quick search of 7-11 downtown Victoria or Shoppers Drug Mart. Should be within walking distance of what you're doing downtown.

If you come back to this thread, I'll mention that you will find them at a large grocery store called Thrifty Foods, which is a few blocks behind the Empress Hotel. They are open 24 hours. Are you walking? Renting a car or taking a cab? Either would take you there in minutes. :)

Thanks for the info. We will be walking and the store looks close to the Legislative Buildings, which we will visit. I see you were on the Grand last year. Any tips/advice on the ship itself?

Hi Gary; not sure I can give you an accurate representation of the ship as ours was only a one-nighter. It all seemed very rushed, but we did enjoy exploring the ship and having a relaxing evening. We ate in the buffet instead of the dining room and it was great. :)
