Indian Food

I am a big fan of Indian food, and Carnival does it very well. I have ordered the vegetarian entree in the MDR several times. They have a particularly good aloo (potatoes) dish and saag (spinach) dish. I found a green pea dish rather delightful and interesting, because I had only ever seen that particular dish made with lentils or split peas or the like.

On Liberty in 2014, we noticed several dishes at lunch on Lido that were Indian, but perhaps called something else. On the Italian day, there was basically a vegetable pakora called something else. There was a "Jamaican" curry that was most definitely Indian. We have also seen jicama salad and chickpea salad that wad full of Indian spices. Actually, the Indian food and Indian inspired food on Liberty was exceptionally good, especially to be non-spicy mass produced food.
