Driving from Tampa to Miami

For those of you in the greater Tampa Bay area: I'm meeting my dd and her friend in Miami for our upcoming cruise. Trying to figure out if its cheaper to fly or drive and park. Airfare is approx 300.00 and a one hour flight. What is the driving time and costs of parking for a 7 night cruise?

Its about a 4 hour drive, 279 miles. The parking at the port is $20.00 dollars per day. The $300.00 for airfare sounds really high, Ive seen $70.00 dollar flights each way. Search Southwest and the online sights such as Travelocity and Orbitz. We neve drive to Miami. We fly from Orlando, grab a cab each way. For the few extra dollars it saves us the long drive down and back.
