Tea

Can anyone tell me what flavors of hot tea are available on the Escape? I drink tea instead of coffee and I like a chai (not a chai latte - just the chai tea bag) I will bring my own if that is not available.

I would bring your own. I don't remember seeing any when we were on the dawn. They also switched brands. No more Twinnings :( the new brand I felt made a weaker cup of tea. Don't remember what brand it was though.

Thank You - though to be honest, I was planning on bringing mine, but sometimes when I head to breakfast I forget to grab a bag or two and I wanted to know what my options where if I didn't feel like going back to the cabin :D

I've never seen Chai on any of the major cruise lines (went on Princess, Carnival, NCL, HAL last year). I was surprised to see Oolong on Princess last year, but didn't this year. You can only expect basic flavors. I always double up the bags of tea, as I like strong tea as well. Check your cups- they aren't always clean. :)

The tea they offer is very weak. I asked a server at Moderno's if that's all they offered and he said no. He brought out some PG black tea. It was much better. I also bring my own but forgot to bring it that day.

The tea they provide is "Fields & Selects". My wife likes the Darjeeling but they have only the usual types (English Breakfast etc) with some fruit ones, nothing at all really exotic.
