Deck 2 on Liberty Question

We are booked on the Liberty, deck 2 with adjoining OV rooms. I've never been on deck 2 before. I usually book balcony cabins but I'm trying to keep the cost down a little. I'm considering booking one of the new panoramic OV rooms on deck 12 but they are $400 per room more.

I'm wondering if others liked deck 2 or if they felt too far away from everything? Also what deck is used for tendering in Grand Cayman?

Thank you for your help!

I was on deck 2 on Indy, sister ship to Liberty, and we liked the location. We were all the way fwd, but it was just one deck down from the nightclub my room mates spent most nights in, and far enough away for it not to be noisy.

Tenders usually load from deck 1 I think, but the line starts higher up than that, probably deck 3 or more and winds down the stairs.
