Hi

Just back from Antigua 2 days ago .

We took taxi cost 6 dollars one way per person on a van

Plenty of taxi for coming back

Important note here: the island use their normal time ,not day light saving time or ship time

We missed our driver but othe buses are there, they know the situation .

The beach was excellent . There are chair and umbrellas for rent but we did not use them since we got a shaded spot . Though it s not a large beach but the crescent is good enough to walk .

We are happy to spend 24 dollars for both of us there .

BTW. Weather was perfect at 80F water was at perfect Temp . Too

Have a good time

I was there several years ago and am returning in March. Was the beach bar and food shack still there?

We were at Dickenson Beach a year ago. it was a short, inexpensive cab ride, maybe $12 or so each way. Rented chairs and and umbrella for $20, but didnt need them. We bought a bucket of beer at one of the beach bars and sat in the surf drinking the beers 'til they were gone and we bought another. this was our best memory of the entire cruise. We are headed back there in a few weeks and are planning on the exact same activity for the day.
