Little French Key or West Bay Beach??

Trying to decide between Little French Key or an island tour with stop at West Bay Beach. I'm looking for blue clear water and snorkeling. We are traveling with 8y/o dd and 14 y/o ds.

There is very easy access to the reef for snorkeling in West Bay if you wish to snorkel the reef in Little French Key there is an extra fee for the boat.

 

Unless the weather is turned West Bay is usually bathtub calm, the reef is inside of a lagoon it is very easy to snorkel little French key is on the windward side of the island and may be more difficult to snorkel because of the direction the wind.

 

For snorkeling I would choose West West Bay over Little French Key

 

Keep in mind if the weather is poor or has been a few days before runoff is going to affect water clarity.
