S.S.Oceanlover Posted April 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2004 I was told by another poster on CC that the Eastern Caribbean formal nights are Sunday and Thursday. This info came from a phone call to Princess which doesn't always guarantee accuracy but it sounds correct. Bucky3 Posted April 26, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Bill - You have a great website. Thanks for all the info. Look forward to meeting you and Chris onboard. You've both given us all SO MUCH valuable information. Anxious to know what cruisers on the Eastern itinerary enjoyed in port. Hopefully, summer will not have too many ships in port on our days. Seems most of them should be in Alaska by then. Bucky
JaniceC Posted April 26, 2004 #6 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Here's another future Caribbean Princess cruiser who is also patiently (!?!) waiting for info on the Eastern sailing. And you should know that I have been checking Bill's site first since his is the best of any I have ever seen. Keep up the good work!!
Helen Posted April 26, 2004 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Another anxious Eastern Carib. cruiser here (June 12). Question for those more experienced. I have read so much about the balcony rooms and we are booked in one on Baja deck. Now after reading all the posts, really think I should have book one on Caribe. What are your thoughts and how do I go about finding exactly what is still available? Thanks in advance.
marye Posted April 26, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 26, 2004 My brother and sister from another mother (sil) are on this cruise. When they return, I will make them respond (or ask them nicely ) to all of our questions. we are on the 5/15 sailing and anxiously awaiting their return. Tina0922 Posted April 26, 2004 #9 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Helen, I am on the same cruise as you!!!! As for the difference of balcony cabins on the Caribe & Baja decks is the size of the balcony. Both decks are 'sandwhiched' between other cabin decks so noice from casino, show rooms, dinning rooms, ect will not be any issues. I could care less about a bigger balcony...as it is on the grand class ships, the mini suites on Dolphin deck can been seen by everyone above you out on their balcony. The same applies to the Caribe deck but it is only 3 deck looking at you instead of four since you are one deck above the Dolphin. It all depends on the size balcony you want adn privacy. I am on the Aloha Deck mid ship and was upgraded to at Cat. BA on the Caribe Deck and declined it. I like my privacy! Hope this helps you. See you on board the ship. Helen Posted April 27, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 27, 2004 Tina, Getting excited, aren't you. Thanks for the input and I think I will be content on Baja. Didn't book a guarantee because we have 2 boys staying in an inside and wanted to make sure we are all together. We'll be happy no matter where we are
