RCCL Cruise Insurance

Has anyone ever had to use RCCL's cruise insurance. If so, were there any problems with the claim.

Also, has anyone compared Rccl's policy to other companies. Looking for any recommendations. Thanks.

You'll get more complete coverage through a private travel insurance program, which will include trip interruption. This is important if you book things separately from the cruiseline and miss a port due to weather, illness, etc.

 

I tend to use insuremytrip.com to comparison shop. It's almost always cheaper than the cruiseline and covers more. The only disadvantage is that you don't have a "cancel for any reason" option that some cruiselines offer as a credit on a future cruise.
