Verizon phone on the Escape

OMG I am so darn mad!!! I called yesterday and was told that I could use the phone on the ship and now today you can't!

 

 

 

I was so excited about being able to keep in contact with my girls back home but now I don't think it is worth $40 to only be able to use it for 3 days on land. We can just get the $15 dockside internet for those 3 days and email or face time. So disgusted with Verizon right now I could scream! :mad::mad::mad:

 

 

You can use the phone on the ship only you pay as you go now

 

Why don't you just go with the $10 unlimited plan on your port days like I am for a total of $30 only if you use it

 

I'm glad I took the 250 minutes as my onboard perk

Bumping a 2 year old thread puts out a lot of old, incorrect information that will confuse people. If you have a question, start a new thread vs bumping an old thread.

 

If you just did a quick google “Verizon cruise ship” you would get your answer. $2.99/min for calls. $0.50 per text message sent. $0.05 per message received.

 

So that 15 minute call home will cost you about $45.
