Escape check-in time Haven

Hi - we are traveling on the Escape in March in Haven suites. It says we can get to the port at 9:30-10 for checkin. We are traveling with a large group of both young kids and older parents that have some light mobility challenges.

We would prefer not to wait around or deal with large crowds. My parents are afraid we'd have to wait for them to get all the previous passengers off and there's no reason to get there at 10. I want to get on early.

If we were to get to dock about 10, what time do they let people on? Will we have to wait? Do Haven rooms get priority? Also once we get on, about when will our rooms be ready?

Trying to decide if we should get there early or wait til 12 or 1, when crowds may be less and we can go straight to room?

Thanks!

There will be more crowds around 12 - 1.

Havens guests will be escorted onboard before general boarding starts at 11:30.

When you get to the port, you will have to go through security screening (usually no line around 10:00-10:30). Immediately after security, there is a private check-in area for Havens guests. Your party will be allowed to sit down and enjoy light snacks (pastries, sandwiches, fruit, coffee, juice). You will be called up to sit with an agent and get checked in. Then allowed to sit in the private lounge until boarding.

Once the ship is ready, your party will be escorted by one of the concierge staff (butlers, etc.) to the Havens lounge for a quick orientation, then allowed to go to your room or directly to lunch in the Haven's restaurant.

So,,, if you get to the port at 10 am, other than a mixing with the non-Havens guests at security, you will be in the private Havens lounge areas.

Is everyone in your group booked in the Haven? If not then you may be separated and the non-haven people won't be allowed in the Haven "green room".

But I also agree that if you wait until 11 to get there, you will run into bigger crowds. So either go early at 9:30 or go let at like 1:30.

We are all in Haven... Thanks for the info... So if we get there at 10-10:30, how long until they let you on the boat? Is 11:45 standard or maybe earlier?

11:30-12:00 is pretty standard. It's doubtful boarding would be any earlier.

General boarding starts around 11:30. Havens guests, that have completed check-in, will be boarded before that.
