Msc hotel in Barcelona?

I am booked on a Meraviglia cruise in Sept next year, embarking in Barcelona. My understanding is that MSC offers pre cruise hotel stays in Europe which I would prefer. Has anyone booked a Barcelona hotel through MSC (regardless of the ship). Did MSC provide transfers from the airport to the hotel and then to the ship? If transfer to the ship was provided, what time did they pick you up and what time did you eventually board? Thanks for any information or suggestion you could provide. thanks!

I can't answer for what MSC provides, but... I have sailed out of Barcelona several times. Transport from the airport to your hotel is easy, lots of taxi's.

 

We stay at Hotel 1898, directly on La Rambla. Again taxi's are always around and anywhere on or near La Rambla will only be a very short ride to the port.

 

If you can, give yourself a few days in Barcelona, it's a fantastic City!
