Does Carnival Pride have carnival hub app?

Wondering if you can use this ap onboard the carnival Pride.

 

If so, has anyone used it?

it went live april 3! We used it. it allows you to chat with others who are on your cruise for $5. you can also see the list of daily activities, a ship map, times of when dining options are open and keep track of your spending account. it was a nice addition!

It was $5 per person for the week for the chat feature. To use the app without chat is free

Thank you so much, that clears it up! I was wondering if its possible that this works in some way with your phone in airplane mode. I always make the boys do this to stop unwanted incoming texts that I would have to pay for. So if you could answer this one for me???? and don't laugh at my stupidity. ;)

Sure thing! iPhone/iPod touch/iPad can be on airplane mode and have the WiFi turned on.

 

Or you can also go into settings > cellular and explicitly turn off cellular data.

ok! I have an android and am going to mess with the phone a little and see what I would need to do. Im SO EXCITED! its always somewhat of a stress trying to locate everyone. I will admit I really do love being "unplugged" but for example: I was in the room packing up for the departure and my husband was on the aft deck watching a storm in the distance, and saw a water funnel. Which is always wanted to see, lol. He came to get me, but I left to find him at the casino. .... hahaha.. just things like that.

OH. and WORST yet:

I was in the room tending to my child with a headache and hubby left casino to ask me what time to meet for dinner and while he was gone, his name was called for a free cruise. I. AM. NOT. KIDDING. :eek:

No problem - You can do the same with Android, turn on the Airplane mode and then turn the Wifi back on. :)

Our group of 6 just used this on the Pride 8 night sailing. We thought it was a great value and most times we would reply to one group message rather than individually.

 

I also took the social media package for 25 for the whole cruise. This was nice to be able to use messenger with some family members back home.

 

It did seem to lock up and we were told by GS that if that happens to go to the internet browser to http://www.logout.com and we would then be prompted to sign in again and then it would work. We ended up doing this on all devices about daily.
