Scaffolding removed from the aft balconies and are those frosted glass balcony dividers everywhere?!
Perhaps the last webcam shot of Dream inside the building hall or under any roof for that matter :D :
Good to go!
Float-out likely to start on 19th August 2016
will commence around 14.00 p.m.
Float out is tomorrow!
2pm CEST (Papenburg, Meyer Werft)
8am EDT (New York)
10pm HKT (Hong Kong)
Here's a live link (stills but refresh manually every minute) of the Meyer Werft pier/dockside;
The Norwegian Joy block has been moved to a corner of the dock.
edit; at this moment there is some dredging going on :)
Here she comes (LIVE stream):
Appears there are lights on the outside of every balcony, must be some decorative lighting feature, curious!
I think I just spotted the lights at work in a previous post a few posts up (#81).. :o
How cruise ships are born:
And completely out of the building hall.
Some more pics at http://www.ndr.de/nachrichten/niedersachsen/oldenburg_ostfriesland/Genting-Dream-macht-im-Werfthafen-fest,gentingdream128.html
I will later post some snapshots of things I noticed today (i.e. the worst balcony hehe..)! :)
This walkway to the Waterfront, imagine having that balcony closest the Waterfront?!
Helo pad seems to be outfitted to actually land helicopters, no Winch Only painted on it as NCL has on BA/GA/ES.
Complete with funnel, hoisting in the lifeboats and/or doing stabilisator tests I think.
Looks pretty cool!
