M_BA Posted April 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2016 (edited) Will be cruising on the Liberty out of Galveston on Easter? Will there be more children than the rest of the month on board? Yes, the week before Easter is a BIG holiday week in Mexico. It is not uncommon for those who can afford it to take the whole week off culminating with Easter Sunday. My last cruise on Liberty ended on Easter Sunday (March 27th 2016). About 2/3 of our ship was from Mexico. It was a bit different but a fun time. I know conversational Spanish, so I was able to interact quite a bit. We arrived in Cozumel on Good Friday. We immediately took a cab to the plaza as we knew there would be a Good Friday ceremony. There were 600-700 locals and maybe 15-20 tourists. It was moving... Edited April 17, 2016 by M_BA Picture
