Boston to Montreal - bus return?

We are considering the Maasdam in Aug of 2006 from Boston to Montreal. I have heard that HAL offers a bus to return you from Montral to Boston. Can anyone give me any idea of the price and the amount of time the trip takes?

I know to drive by car from Boston to Montreal is 5 hours one way.

It's also a beautiful trip through the Adirondacks and the Berkshires assuming they go south then, east. While not through HAL, Amtrak would also be an option and the train hugs Lake Champlain for part of the Adirondack trip and the Mass. part of the train trip is beautiful.

According to my TA they have just announced bus service to/from Boston for next year. I believe it is $99. per person one way from Montreal back to Boston and the bus should arrive around 5:00 pm.

 

I would suggest you check with your TA and they can always check with HAL.

 

Now, if they would only come up with bus service to/from NYC for the new Noordam we would be happy!
