Hello, can anyone tell me where the HAL ships dock? On the Celebrity cruise in December it berthed in the Pan American pier I think. We had to take a taxi into town.

HAL docks right at the pier in town. No taxis needed unless you want to go to the beaches.

In December the Westerdam docked downtown. Many times the Pan Am pier is only used for cruises that begin/end in SJU.

That has been our experience as well. Even when we cruised on Princess and our cruises began and ended in San Juan, we docked at the Pan Am pier.

We have sailed on several different HAL ships and we always docked down town.
