Haven at time of booking?

Looking at Escape 5/28/16 sailing. Is the haven really worth booking and paying list price for? Or should I book balcony or mini suite and the try to upsell? Currently double to book Haven Spa Suite vs Mini Suite Guarantee.

The Haven actually MADE our cruise on the Escape. We loved it and used it and spent a lot of time there. I say got for it! You won't regret it!

The Havens is worth it,,, if you can afford it. We try to book the Havens or suites when possible, but can't rationalize the price for every cruise.

If only a couple of Haven staterooms left, then book direct. If quite a few are still available, I'd do the cheapest balcony then upsell. Doesn't seem to be a price difference whether you booked BX or BA. Standard starting price seems to be $1,000 pp to jump from Balcony to Haven Courtyard, Spa, Forward, and Aft. Why pay full price when you can probably get it for 40% off?
