Next Stop Cartagena

Cartagena, our next and final stop (before arriving in Barcelona). Didn't really do much here since we were only here from 7am to 2pm. Wasn't really worth organizing a tour and lots to do and see near the port. Me and my group got off early and found a nice spot to have breakfast. We then walked around for a little bit and then went our separate ways. I then went to visit the Roman Theater Museum and the Conception Castle.

We walked around Calle Mayor for a bit. Stumbled upon this bakery and had a nice breakfast. We each have different things. I had a Toast with a "cafe' con leche" (coffee and milk) and a chocolate covered doughnut (I'm normally not a fan but YUM)

Next Stop Barcelona

It's the end of our cruise. Usually I'd be sad on disembarkation day but I was really looking forward to Barcelona. I arranged a private 8 hour tour for 5 of us with Barcelona Day Tours. They have been great communicating with us the months prior to our tour. They even organized our entrance appointment to Park Guell. (we had to pay this in advance. the price was 7 euros). they also arranged a Flamenco show for 9 of us later that evening. We had gotten off the ship just a few minutes earlier than anticipated so we had to wait for our guide Giuseppe a little bit but he arrived promptly at 8:30 am as arranged. He had a nice sized van that fit all 5 of us plus our luggage (2 or 3 bag each)

after our pick up, Giuseppe drove us around a couple of different neighborhoods in Barcelona before stopping for a coffee at the beautiful Palau de la Musica building.
