10 Drink Card sale dates

Many posts on this site have indicated the 10 drink card is usually sold on the last day which is not a good deal to me. However, the Wednesday, 3/9 LOS cruise compass shows the card for sale on Wed for $72+..Is that unusual? If usually on Wed that is significant if u aren't buying a pkg. What is your experience?

Both the availability and maybe even the price is unpredictable.

On our January 30th Oasis sailing, the 10 drink card was available on the Wednesday at a price of $79 plus 18% gratuity. Worked out great for us. :)

On Liberty last month it was available on Day 5 for $69 plus gratuity.

It is a last ditch effort to boost liquor sales toward the end of the voyage.

 

After everyone whom is going to buy a liquor package is done and regular liquor sales start to run slow....
