$$$ spent may sound good, but it is trivial to inflate the number via the casino. Wouldn't take many cruises or days at sea.

for some cruisers gambling is their form of excursion. If it is on your S&S it should be counted, exclude tips and winnings.

As an oversimplified example, I put $1000 in chips on my S&S card, walk around the casino, and then walk over to the cashier and cash out. That is $1000 I just "spent".

yeah, that will require a work around, maybe require the cash out be put back on the s&s since the chips were put on the on the card.
