Car Rental Livorno

Hey,

 

Has anyone rented a car at the port in Livorno? We would like to possibly go to pisa and a vineyard for lunch. Any suggestions?

 

We wanted to do something on our own so that we could have a little more freedom.

I can recommend Hertz at the port.

Pick-up at the cruise terminal, friendly, professional people and fair prices.

 

We drove early morning to Pisa, and thereafter st course to San Gimigiano, which is a touristy but absolutely enchanting Tuscan town.

If you do a search of this forum you will find multiple posts (by moi) on this very subject. In short, we recommend booking a car with Sifracar.com...(the local Hertz franchisee) who will deliver your car right to the pier and allow you to later drop at the same place.

Thank-you for your responses! We would like to explore a little on our own. Any recommendations for lunch? We were hoping to have lunch at a farmhouse/vineyard.
