Which State Room? Family OV or balcony?

Recommended Posts

Trying to decide between a family ocean view and a balcony on the Independence. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids and was able to book the family ocean view room for $400 cheaper than a balcony room E1. Would love to hear your opinions...

IMO and experience in the past with our family I would suggest the FOV v the E1 any day. While it still only has one bathroom and lacks a balcony, it is significantly larger (293 sq. ft. v 184 sq. ft.) with separate sleeping areas for your children in a bunk room and more storage areas. Given the price difference you indicate there would be no question in my mind and I would book the FOV.
