up-sell on the Fascination

I am just been curious on how frequently Carnival cruiser's get called for an up-sell.

 

This is our 7th cruise with Carnival, and 2nd up-sell call, first call 2 years ago, was to upgrade to a GS.

 

This time we were called, and offered what they refer to as "the owner's suite" on the Fascination (aka Penthouse). If you are interested, they send email with pictures.

 

Have cruised on other lines, but not received calls.

PH1 and PH2 are both on the spa deck and are fantastic, if a bit tackily decorated.

 

Usually they try to upsell this for $4,000. I'm not really sure it's worth that.

Judging by our experience we get upsell calls about 15-20% of the time.

Did you take ? How much was the up-sell for? When we were offered the Owners Suite on the Ecstasy, it was for $4000.

No we did not, price was $1750, that is on top of the price for a GS extended balcony.

Searching through CC, too many post's said the noise from the running track above, and location meant constant noise day and evening
