lucy2222 Posted October 24, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2005 So one of our friends is very interested in going on a cruise and he is single. We thought it might be okay if he "bunk" with us. Currently we have a GG Guarantee. Could we add him on, and would we be able to keep the guarantee? How do they set the room up? Will there be room for 3 people in an oceanview? Hulagirl Posted October 24, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2005 We take our daughter with us when we cruise, so we are always booking cabins for 3 people. First thing is, we can never book with a guarantee with 3 people. Always have to book a specific room. We have done it in regular cabins, not just mini suites, and have done it, but it will be tight. The cabin will be set up with two twin beds and the third bed is a pullman type fold down from the wall. It will be above one of the twins and will feel a bit like a bunk bed situation. Hope this helps.
cherylandtk Posted October 24, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2005 Lucy, hulagirl is correct, you would need to book a specific cabin that holds at least 3 people; they do have GG triples/quads. You would still be "eligible" for an upgrade, should a suitable room be available. The important thing is to book the 3rd person ASAP as those rooms tend to sell out first. The layout in a GG is two twin beds against the walls, heads against the outside window wall, two nightstands under the window separating the beds. The 3rd/4th bunks are drop down or fold outs above the twins.
