Captain's suite worth it?

Hey there everyone!

I am new here, so let me start off by saying hello!

I went on my first cruise in March of this year, on Carnival to the Bahamas on a 4 day for my birthday/spring break...

It was just me and a college buddy of mine and I splurged on an extended Grand suite which turned out to be very nice and quite comfortable for two people..

I am planning a family cruise for December to the Caribbean for 4-5 days and am wondering if it would be worth it to get the Captains suite? It will cost an extra $800 over the Grand Suite but the room looks so sweet.....

Does anyone think its worth the extra $800 to get?

Thanks again!

Mench

Boy, did you ever spoil yourself on that first cruise.. Of course its worth it if you've got the funds. Especially with a family along, the extra room will be wonderful.

If money is a problem, you might look into two or more adjoining cabins also. Might even be cheaper than the Captains.

Here's a video I made of 9202 (Captain's Suite) on Carnival Freedom.

Personally I can't see spending that much money on a suite again, unless you just have more money than you know what to do with. You would be perfectly happy in a Balcony for 1/4 of the price.
