Xel-ha....Tulum?

Has anyone heard how Tulum and Xel-ha fared during Wilma?:confused:

On Xel-ha's website they have a bulletin saying they are closed as a result of the hurricane, something to the effect of they will not reopen until all repairs are made. www.xelha.com

The website now states in upper right corner that they will open Dec. 1st, 2005.

Tulum reopened the week after Wilma. Those Mayans sure knew how to build sturdy structures!

It now says Dec 3rd. :) Looks like they are making progress. Well worth the visit.

We were in Tulum the week of November 6th, the stairs down to the beach were closed due to damage, but the rest of the site was up and running, including power and water in the restrooms. Awesome place to visit, we loved it.

We were at Tulum 1/9. Awesome trip. I wish I had more time to spend there.
