Rare Coral Posted November 9, 2005 #51 Share Posted November 9, 2005 We had all tips removed from our charge because I voiced concerns about the dining room service. Personal choice has it ups and downs. I sincerely feel sorry for those individuals who served you food and cleaned your room. They did all that work and didn't receive anything. Very sad. These people work 12-14 hours 7 days a week and you think that they didn't deserve any of the tips....
cruisnfool Posted November 9, 2005 #52 Share Posted November 9, 2005 coke cards cheaper on Princess and you get choice of glass size 24hr horizon court...I think buffet food better than RCI buffet but dining room better on RCI fresh water pools...although I hear RCI is changing over to freshwater pools multiple choices for entertainment on Princess but it does favor anytime dining which we don't like Design of ship traditional, nothing special RCI ships make you go WOW More seniors and handicap travelers on Princess especially on Grand class that built more handicap access rooms Princess limits amount of children per sailing... Slightly younger crowd on RCI Service same taste of food same Big change on Princess...you can't write in things on breakfast menu unless you are in mini's and suites You can still write things on RCI Haven't seen a differance with cleanliness. I would sail either line depending on price and itinerary Princess private island nicer than RCI I like it that Princess waits to charge your excursions to your account on board where RCI makes you put it on credit card as soon as you reserve it. I like the $100 bookings that Princess offers.....never seen that with RCI MIni's on Princess are cheaper than Junior suites on RCI
