We lost our hotel

Dear Oceanwench:

Thanks so much for your kind words and suggestions regarding gas. I can understand your daughter's situation - my husband's store is in Pompano and they just got their power back on Thursday.

I trust that she (and her family) are all safe now. I'm basically located at the borderline of Palm Beach and Broward Counties and we got hammered up here.

Still 550,000 without power in Broward County alone. I consider myself blessed to have had my power restored in only 4 days!

Safe sailing............

TrentS, just quoting what the Hotel manager expressed to us. We don't live there so we have no idea. The reason for closure was the loss of power. Glad to see they are back up and running again. Their ongoing rennovations is a whole nother story.
