maggie1968 Posted August 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2016 Do the 2 person mopeds really have enough power to carry 2 adults total weight 360lbs and keep up with traffic?
mcbutter Posted August 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2016 Yes! The speed limit in BM is 5 to 22 mph. Most locals go 25-35 mph. We had 2 people with a combined weight of about 300lbs, and could easily reach 40 mph. Going up hills was less, about 30-35 mph, depending on the grade. SailBadtheSinner Posted August 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2016 I can't really help you, but have read that they are under powered. Also, I know you didn't ask for this but have you read Big Mikes Guide - Should you rent a Scooter in Bermuda? Since the original post is 3 years old, the prices are out-of-date.
