Look at what the ship is offering vs the Train itself (look at their website). See the difference and decide. The basic Train price is something like $140 for the 3 hour ride, including a meal. The Train touts itself as a restaurant first, tourist train second...

It would certainly be different than any other excursion you could go on. The food is excellent, the scenery is amazing, and you can try some outstanding wines. You can try wines by the glass if you don't want to buy a bottle.
