My husband (he's 43) always wears a tux....mainly because he owns one and likes to have an excuse to get some use out of it. We normally travel with a big group of friends (we had 70 in our group last time), and he's the only guy that wears a tux, but he looks soooo much more handsome than the others! (That's my unbiased opinion!)

 

I will concede that, at least on RCI, I would estimate that I've only noticed about 25-30% of the guys wearing tuxes, but there are enough of them that you don't "stick out", per se. No need to be self conscious about it.
