Mediterranean- 2017

We are looking around to book in the Mediterranean for next year and noticed that Royal Caribbean seem to have cut back on cruises. Anyone any idea of why this is?

They do have some ships doing 7 day cruises but they do the same itinerary week after week. Why don't they alternate so then at least you could join them up if you wanted.

Looks like we may have to go with another cruise line.

I agree, the Europe selection next year is pitiful.

Indy, Navigator and Freedom are all amazing ships, but all 3 are practically the same, especially with Navigator having had her refurb and now having a Flowrider. Not appealing to customers who like variety.

Why replace Harmony/Allure with Freedom? Plus, for the Floridians, the only option for 7 day cruises that they have are the Oasis Class.

Ah well, I've done Scandinavia and the Med. The only good itineraries are on the small old ships (except Indy's Norway/North Sea cruises early July), so I will fly to Florida and just take the Harmony from there. Caribbean's more relaxing.

Have a look at Jewel OTS. There are 7 day cruises alternating between West Med & Greek Islands,

Friday, June 30: Sardinia (Cagliari), Italy 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Saturday, July 1: At Sea

Sunday, July 2: Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

That's not bad at all for a 14 night itinerary...
