SAS Transportation

Thinking of booking with them for transportation from our FLL Hotel to the Miami Cruise Port.

 

It mentions on their site that pickup times are 9:30, 11:30 and I believe 12:30, which is a good time to choose? We are thinking 9:30 or 11:30. The ship doesn't set sail until 4:00. Don't want to hang out too long with nothing to do.

 

We will be going on the Carnival Splendor and we do have FTTF.

If you have FTTF, why not pick the earliest time?

I agree - you paid extra for FTTF, you might as well arrive early (the ride from the FLL area to POM takes 45-60 minutes and you may not be the last pick-up they make. Arriving at POM about 10:30 with FFTF means you should be among the first on the ship - no crowded lunch buffet, no lines at the bar and wide open selection of pool side chairs.

I wasn't sure how early you can actually get onto the ship. But I did book the 9:30 :)

Depending upon when the last customers leave from the previous cruise, most ships start boarding some where around 11-11:30.
