Rhapsody Voom installed?

Does someone has any recent experiences with internet on rhapsody of the seas. We will be boarding the Rhapsody in September and are wondering to prepurchase internet. The cruise planner says voom and can even choose for surf + stream. But we are wondering if rhapsody is really upgraded to voom or that it's still the old slow internet connection.

It's still the older connection from what I've read. I'll be boarding on Friday so I can let you know.

The ship has not been upgraded to the newer O3B internet, but the service is usable. If you are considering it, I'd get it before hand at a discount and if the service doesn't live up to your expectations, cancel on board.

I do not know because I don't use it. My phone will be off and in my suitcase! Have a great cruise!

Same cruise too, we got the surf/stream to make sure no issues with face time etc, plus make things a little faster for a few dollars more per day. Hope it works ok (leaving kids behinds :-) )

I didn't try Netflix but Youtube worked on SURF - all the other things worked, albeit sometimes slowly.
