So already booked a cruise for dec 8 out of galveston and saw specials pop up. Can you change your reservations to a different date and apply what you have paid to a different cruise? TIA

I take it this is on Carnival? Perhaps better to post this at the dedicated Carnival forum here. My thinking is "maybe", but best to call them up for the 100% accurate answer. Don't always rely on forums for this, call the line up directly- it saves time.

Like Lou said, "Maybe". Has final payment date been reached? IF not, is the deposit refundable? Do you have trip insurance?

If you booked with Carnival's Early Saver fare and you want to change to a different date, there is a $50 per person penalty to do so. If you are booked with any other non-restricted Carnival fare you can do this with no fee or penalty.
