Reprice a guarantee booking

Good morning, I apologize if it has been discussed, Is it possible to reprice a guarantee booking? We booked a suite guarantee on anthem for 4 people, we were given a family junior suite, which I believe is the smallest we could get anyway with four people. Currently I could save about $100 if I were to book the guarantee again. Is it possible to reprice the guarantee and go back into the pool, or would I have to reprice at the family junior suite.

did you book direct or with TA? Call whoever you booked with for definate answer

A TA that I usually end up having to push a little bit, last year I had to convince them that royal would do a regular reprice, and they kept telling me that royal doesn't allow it. So im just trying to see if its possible before I talk to them. I wouldn't have used them again but I couldnt beat the price anywhere. If its a cheap trip I usually book direct so i can deal with everything myself, however on the higher cost cruises the benefits outweigh the hassle.

what you have now goes out the door. You are basically cancelling and re booking, but keeping the same booking number

Sounds like your TA doesn't want to reprice you because everytime she/he does the commission is lower and they loose $$
