Onboard Expenses

Hello all...first time poster so excuse me if this has been asked before. I did a search but didn't find it and thought I'd ask here before calling Norwegian.

 

My family and a few friends are cruising on the Escape at the end of the month and I have a question about onboarding expenses. My family (DH and 2 kids) will all be in one room and share knew onboard account however, we have another group cruising with us in a different room. They all paid separately and I'm wondering if Norweigian will be able to split their onboard accounts based off of each passenger or if they will have to use oneither standard room account and just reimburse the person who's adding their cc.

 

Does anyone know if Norwegian allows each passenger to open their individual onboard accounts?

Yes each person can open their own account

Yes my last cruise both me and my gf had separate onboard accounts. They can each use their own card.

On booking-in make sure they each ask to have a credit card aligned to their room card; no problem.

How do I sign up for my onboard account? When I sailed on a different cruise line I was able to set it up online before we boarded, but I can't find it on NCL website.

You do it at the port when you check in. You can't do it beforehand.
