biguy56 Posted October 3, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Seems like a silly question, but is it safe to drink tea, soda or cocktails while off the boat in Nassau or Freeport. I could not find any post about this, plenty about the ships water which I know is good. Last thing I want to do is get sick because I was chewing on ice. wheezedr Posted October 3, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Cannot attest to all parts of the island, so the simplest answer is drink sofa chilled in the can, from the can. Skip the ice. Same is true for bottled water. Also drink your beer from the bottle.

cb at sea Posted October 3, 2016 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2016 Most of the cruise ports, especially in "tourist" spots, are fine. The only place I would be very careful is Mexico. That said, I usually stick to beer or bottled water in most places. If you are off the "beaten path", I wouldn't do ice, water or fresh, uncooked foods!
