We have a choice of two staterooms, 2148 or 1667. We would appreciate any thoughts from cruisers that have stayed in these rooms, thanks.

We will be in 1667 in a little over a month! It's an SS2 which is next to the corner aft suite. It's on the penthouse deck which is our favorite - high and with the (allegedly) better butlers and room stewards because they also service higher end suites.

You're in-between cabins above and below, and you have all the suite benefits.

 

Order some room service breakfast on your port mornings. Aaaaaaah.

Forgot to add: The other cabin is a deck higher with the larger overhang, right under a public deck. We haven't stayed on that deck before. Same cabin, but maybe some noise. Some don't like a large overhang. That wouldn't bother us as we don't like to get a lot of sun, but just being under possibility of chair scraping and noise might.

We were just in suite S2 2133 on deck 12 on Silhouette. While we like the overhang our suite did have quite a bit of noise. I'm not sure if the noise was from above or from the center of our floor and the sound travels up and over. I sound at time sounded like carts on rollers. When I book again on a S Class ship I will book S2 suites same area but more forward. We have cruised many times in the C2 cabins at the beginning of deck 12. Cabins 2105,2107,2109. We had no noises from above.

We have stayed in 1667 and staying in 1665 in April then 1667 again in 2018. I think we liked it :D

 

The view is amazing. The room is big and the balcony is wonderful!

Stayed in 1667 last summer - gorgeous suite, big with lovely balcony, lots of space, couldn't fault it - great service too. No noise from the outdoor restaurant two floors up. Wouldn't hesitate in booking again. [emoji16]
