Buckimion Posted October 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2016 I have my mobility scooter decorated as a woody wagon as part of my Halloween costume for our cruise on Elation. It includes a 3' inflatable mini surfboard which I have no intention of taking it to any pools or beach, but I am concerned if it might be confiscated during check-in. Is this a strong possibility? Floatation Devices: For the comfort of all our guests, rafts, tubes and floatation devices other than those used as life preservers (water wings) cannot be used in the swimming pools on board. joeyjpaul Posted October 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2016 According to the Carnival FAQ the following is allowed for port use only: Boogie Boards (maximum 42 inches in length) Therefore you should have no problem bringing it on the ship, It should be fine for what you described. Island Hopping Posted October 17, 2016 #3 Share Posted October 17, 2016 If it's not inflated and packed in your luggage they will not know it's there. On Halloween night I don't think anyone would care.

( From Carnivals FAQ) I always pack a deflated pool floatie and deflated noodle to use at the beaches in port. They've never been confiscated.
