Hello!

In February We are flying into FLL and cruising out of Miami. We arrive the day before the cruise and I am trying to decide where to spend the night.

I am thinking Hyatt pier 66 or Hampton inn suites brickell. My daughter and I both have celiac disease and we need restaurants/grocery stores near by and both these hotels have that.

The kids will want to swim and possibly hit the beach.

Price wise they are both similar.

Has anyone stayed at both of these hotels and can offer advice?

I have not stayed in the Pier 66 in a long time, but do know that the Hampton Inn Brickell is no where near a beach, but is near lots of shopping and dining options that should work for your other requirements.

Depending upon how late you arrive into FLL, and how many in your party, a SUV/mini-van taxi might be a better option to get from FLL to the Hampton Inn - about $75+ on the meter.
