vtpeco Posted October 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2016 We have an Alaskan cruise booked for June of next year on the Carnival Legend. The current itinerary has us cruising Glacier Bay National Park. I have read many posts of people taking an 'excursion' from the cruise ship to the glacier but I have not found any way to book this. Maybe this is only available in Misty Fjords? I called my travel agent and Carnival and they have no idea
alwaysfrantic Posted October 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2016 If you're in Glacier Bay what would you want to see other than the scenic. Raising the ship does.

Misty Fjords is in Ketchikan and doesn't have glaciers. If your travel agent is so clueless that they can't answer this question, it may be time for a new travel agent. ;)
vtpeco Posted October 25, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted October 25, 2016 Thanks for the info. I figured there had to be a simple explanation. I just didn't want to miss out on reservations if I had missed something. My travel agent has been good so far but this time she told me to check with Carnival. :)
