We will be cruising from Los Angeles to Hawaii to Tahiti the beginning of January. Does anyone know what type of weather we should expect? Need advice for what type of clothing we should bring for the first part of the cruise. The remainder of the cruise will be warmer weather.

It should not be overly cold. You should bring at least a nylon jacket for the first few days, maybe with a light lining. The closer you get to Hawaii the more pleasant it will be, but please expect some rain. I am also from Hawaii and it may be raining some there. Yes, Tahiti is quite a bit warmer and more humid, but this too is rainy season, so just be prepared. It will be very warm and humid there.
